Mogadishu(Faanoole)-Abdirahman Mohamed Mohamud Farole has on Tuesday announced that he stopped running for the presidential candidacy and called for other candidates for the change to minimize their number to the competition, Faanoole reported.
“I decided not to run for the presidential election tomorrow, I urge other candidates to the same, because there is interference in the election by foreigners, lawmakers should support in favor for the saving the country”, Farole said in a press conference in Mogadishu today.
Mr. Farole becomes the second candidate to the leave from the presidential candidacy.
Eng. Abdullahi Ali Hassan resigned and left to run for the presidency and therefore 22 candidates will take part the presidential election which will happen in Mogadishu today on Wednesday.
